Umai Fusion Buffet - A Delicious Buffet Experience in Alexandria, VA

Went during the first week of opening. There are still a few things to tweak but the buffet runs well. Fill your teppanyaki plate to be grilled first and then grab some other stuff while you wait. The sushi is fresh and similar to how it is at sushi king. I liked the eel and salmon. The tuna was alright. A decent amount of sushi options for a buffet. Sauces and toppings available, too! Plenty of other main dish options. There were snow crab legs, oysters, muscles, and shrimp. The people were friendly and attentive! Everything is kept well stocked. Lots of dessert options, too. One thing I would worry abbot is the raw chicken and beef in the buffet for the teppanyaki. For the price, it’s worth it. The must grabs: 1. Snow Crab 2. Fried Chicken Wings 3. Chicken Skewer 4. Sushi (eel and salmon) 5. Crawfish 6. Black Pepper Chicken 7. Creamy Ice Cream Cup WITH a Chinese doughnut to dip in it. $18.99/person during dinner and weekends. Discount for seniors and kids during the weekdays. Also lower lunch price.

Customer service was good, atmosphere is nice with projections of a fish tank, clean environment and the food was good. I just wish it was all hot and not just like warm. But for the price it’s a decent lunch spot.

I like eat at here, you can eat everything included crab, shrimp, mussel, oyster, baby octopus, etc...Atmosphere so quiet,match with any family or bussiness..background at wall using projector, so you like inside of big tank or aquarium..extra space parking...they have hibachi also if you want them to cook...They restroom so clean, and at parking area clean too..so totally different with another AYCE or buffet another area..very recomended

The place was nice. However, the taste of food was not that great.

We got there towards the end of the night and the food was still very fresh. They offered tons of great food including fresh well seasoned crabs, mussels,shrimp, seafood boil, fish, sushi, general TSO chicken, ribs, chicken wings, pizza, fried rice, a hibachi area and many more food options. Buffet is less than $20 without the drink for adults. The staff was very nice and they also speak Spanish. Restrooms and bar was kept clean.

Fantastic！！！ This buffet restaurant offers a wide range of choices, including Chinese food, American food, Seafood, Sushi, Hibachi , Pho, Fruits, Salads, Dessert... Both the taste and service are top-notch, the hygiene is very clean, and the atmosphere is super great. I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

The place was amazing. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. The service moved at the right pace, and everyone seemed genuinely happy to help. The food was incredibly fresh, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. You could tell a lot of care went into each dish. The atmosphere was on another level, comfortable and unique in a way that makes you want to stay longer. For everything they offer, the prices are very reasonable. Overall, it’s the kind of spot you look forward to coming back to and recommending to friends.

Customer service was excellent!!! The food tasted good and fresh. They have plenty of food dishes to choose from and also offer hibachi. Highly recommended! The restaurant in general was very nice and clean!
